ATID · Our history

A commercial path
built across markets.

Before specializing in Chilean salmon brokerage, the people behind ATID built decades of experience representing international food brands, developing retail categories, coordinating specialty imports and creating export programs.

From international food representation to specialized Chilean salmon brokerage.

1990s

Commercial roots

International food representation in Chile.

Before ATID, Comercial Foody’s Ltda. represented and imported international food brands into Chile, supplying supermarkets and premium hotels. The portfolio included HERO preserves, José R. Curbera seafood products, Caprice wafers from Papadopoulos and private-label programs.

2008–2015

ATID

Empire Kosher Poultry.

In 2008 Sociedad ATID SpA began importing and representing Empire Kosher Poultry from the United States, moving from direct sales into Jumbo supermarkets and institutional foodservice channels.

2012

Export development

Kosher goat cheese to the U.S.

ATID developed a Chilean goat-cheese export program for the U.S. kosher market, coordinating the processor, kosher ingredients, rabbinical supervision, samples, private-label requirements and the first commercial orders.

2013–2019

Specialty seafood

Dutch seafood in Chile.

ATID imported Matjes and Rollmops from the Netherlands, presenting the products at Wintermarkt and developing the category from direct distribution into Jumbo supermarkets in Santiago.

2021–Today

Current focus

Chilean Salmon Brokerage.

Since 2021, ATID has concentrated its international food activity on Chilean salmon brokerage: developing qualified buyers for fresh and frozen programs, coordinating specifications and following the commercial operation from origin toward destination.
